Jennifer Wallace (C/O '92)......Just wanted to take a minute to update everyone on what I've been up to since I have not written in a while. I am still living in Arlington, Virginia and have just finished my first year of graduate school at Marymount University. I anticipate completion of my Masters degree in May 1999! (cannot come soon enough) I recently started a new job at SAIC in McLean as a Systems Analyst. It's exciting! Well, I would love to hear from anyone out there who may remember me! Take care. Jen

Hey everybody at BHS. This is a great site. Just a small note from Angela ( Davis) Eichelberger to say hey and how is it going. The other day I was busy thinking about the past and how much I miss everyone especially the class of 88. A friend of mine who is a reservist just came back from Spang. and was rubbing it in my face what she got to do, eat, and of course drink. It made me think of how much I miss that place. It is amazing that 10 years ago I graduated from High School and that it has taken something like this site to connect me with the past and with old friends. I just got a note from Monti congrats on marriage and a good life also to April and Cibo. It is so cool to hear what is happening in everybodies life. I was glad to hear the reunion went well and that some of the east coast folks were able to get together. If anyone wants to do something else let me know I would love to be there. Take care and feel free to write, I have my own email now, alanangi@iland.net.

Ed thanks for the great web site. I have been sitting here reading for over an hour. This is Lisa Duncan, now Garcia 84. I haven't read much from anyone from 84. I have been looking for MICHELLE JONES 85, with no luck. Anyone know her whereabouts. Last I knew she was dating a GI named Tony. In the past 15 years I have run into a few from Bitburg. Candy Nelson, Patty Brown and I partied one afternoon in California. I have talked to or seen George Pederson, Chris Van Dyke, Brenda Rush, Cathy Cox, Diana Morales, Bianka, Sheldon Stokes in Texas. Tammy and Mark Pollock in AZ. John McBride in Colorado. Things for me have been pretty good. I am a paralegal (no laughing) living in Texas and the mother of 2 wonderful kids, Nicole 14 and Joshua 12. I got remarried in Vegas last month. It was great!!! I tried looking up Rod Hunt, but didn't have any luck. Anyone out there from 84, I would love to hear from you. For those of you who remember my little brother Tony Duncan, it is alive and well in Vegas.

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to drop a line to let you all know what a great time we had at the San Diego BHS Reunion this past weekend. To all of you who were not there, you were sincerely missed. I ran into many old friends and met many, many new ones. There were folks there from '73 - 88, we all had that common bond.....ya know....the BEER! Dancing, singing and reminiscing the good'ole days, I haven't laughed so hard since I left Bitburg. Everyone looked really great and had done very well for themselves. I had such a good time, that I would like to encourage you all not to miss the next reunion. We don't have any detailed plans as of yet, but I will be sure to keep you posted. I will be coordinating the classes of '86-'88 for the next reunion so please pass along your addresses, phone #'s for yourself and anyone else that you know that attended BHS. I am also putting together a web site for the classes of '86-88. I will need help with photos, then and now, candid shots from sporting events, homecomings, reunions, etc. I could also use help from anyone with a scanner and yearbooks from those years, drop me a line if you'd like to help. I look forward to hearing from all of you and hope to see you all at the BHS all class reunion. Tchuss! Tracey Anderson-Berger Class of '87 7071 Tallow Tree Rd. Hi everyone this is Janet (Templeton) Warren, class of '80. I have been really bad about keeping in touch with anyone from Bitburg but I hope to correct that starting right now. My older brother Jeff, class of '78, keeps in touch with some of you but does not have e-mail so if you would like to get a message to him please feel free to send me an e-mail and I will be happy to pass it on. It would be a little hard to cram 18 years of info into one message so I'll keep it short. I am living in Lake Forest, California with my husband of almost 18 years and our three children (ages 16,14 & 10). I work as the Assistant Controller for a staging and production company and spend all of my off-time driving kids to one function or another (the joys of motherhood). I would love to hear from anyone that lived on "the hill" (Trier) between 75 and 78. (Jessie I know I saw your name out there somewhere) Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Hello all you Baron Fans.  I love reading about all you out there, even if you graduate in different decades.  Tom Brown (CO '86) here.  With an update on my life.  I am married now to one Shawnie J Wilcox (now Brown).  Can you believe it?  I still think of the BHS years with fond memory and even occasionally take out the yearbooks.  I really loved taking some of those pictures and remember most of the stories behind them.  I really wish I could be there for the reunion, but alas, I guess I will have to live with the yearbook and shirt.  I even sent in a pretty cheesy picture. Oh well, I have to get back to work on a paper for my MPA.  It is a small world and I am sure I will meet some of you eventually and even (hopefully) again.   Tom

Got a rough start after graduation when I ventured to U.T. at Austin in 83-84 straightened out and Graduated with a Bachelor's in Systems Science at The University of West Florida. Married in August 1987 to my wonderful wife Kathleen. We moved to Fort Lauderdale in Jan 1989 for a job at Certified Vacations. In 1993 we had our one and only child Kristin Anne-Marie Byrd. In 1994 I started my own Corporation, and I have been consulting for the last four years ( currently at Putnam Investments) in Franklin Massachusetts. I moved up here just to be near the skiing. And while it has been good, it is just not the same as skiing in the Alps. We just bought our first house 6 days before Christmas. Talk about decorating FAST... as we had my IN-laws three days later.... My business is going well, and I am venturing into other areas besides consulting. No -- as you can tell I have not written the next TRON movie, as stated I was most likely to... however I do have four PC's in my house.... From: Gary L. Miller GaryLinn@aol.com

Greetings to all: Gary L. Miller, class of "74" here! I have not posted in over a year's time, so, here is an update: I just finished another year in Bible college with a 3.7 GPA. I only let you know that because I was such a horrendous student while attending Bitburg High School. I think I graduated between 20 and 30 from the bottom of my class. :-) So, it is a grand revelation to find out that I can do more than act and sing in musicals. My brain does work after all. Well, speaking of acting: the playhouse that I have performed for since 1985 went to NYC and Boston to cast their summer musical. I feel fortunate to have just signed a contract with them. I will be performing the duel roles of "Merlyn" and "Pellinore" in the musical, "Camelot." Pellinore is a wonderful character and great part! I go into rehearsals in a couple of weeks. I was licensed this year as a minister and have already flown to Atlanta, GA and Selma, AL to sing, preach and, of course, do a little bit of acting. I am excited about all the possibilities of using my theatre training in the ministry. Little did I know that God was training me all these years. I thought I was simply "doing my own thing" at the theatre. He was in control all the time! God is good! Well, as far as I know, that makes me the "REV" of the "74" class. :-) We have lawyers and doctors and engineers and a varied assortment of professional people. I guess I can be the token chaplain at any reunions that we might have. I am interested in some of the other classes, however. If there are other Bitburg grads who are now in the ministry, I would love to chat with you. Makes no difference when you graduated to me. Hey, keep in touch everyone. I will post again next summer after another long year of schooling. If anyone is going to be up in the Maine/New Hampshire area this summer and would like to see "Camelot," let me know. Just E-mail me at Garylinn@AOL.COM Fondly, Gary L. Miller

Hello there. I just found this section a few months ago and have enjoyed reading it. I graduated from Bitburg in 1983 and have not kept up with many people. I would love to hear from anyone in the class. After graduation I moved to Texas and went to LeTourneau College and then on to Denver to get my M.A.. I got married in 1988 to Heather, who i met on a road trip through Houston. We moved to Houston and are still here...I just don't understand this heat....I am a Psychotherapist in private practice and work with teens and families. It's a blast. Thanks to my education in Bitburg I know what these kids are going through....or trying to get away with. I have three daughters, 8, 5, 2. Anyways, thats an extremely short 15 year update. Like I said earlier, I would love to hear from anyone that remembers me. Thanks.

Heool everyone. It has been a long time since I posted anything on the page. As everyone is aware of the changes ED has made in all of our lives I would like to say thanks. As Shawn Floyd mentioned, Chad Carter and I went to see him graduate a few weeks ago. We had a wonderful time, and Shawn, you haven't changed a bit. To be honest, nobody has changed. Chad is in the process of moving again, so when he get his computer set up, I am sure he will be back in touch with everyone again. Congratulations Shawn on your new career. I had no doubt that you would get it, and I hope you didn't have a hangover during your interview! If anybody is in debt and needs money, ask Shawn!!!!!!!! Well, I am at Appalachian State University, going to summer school. All classes from now on pertain to my major of Political Science. I love it. I couldn't have picked a major more pertainable to me. I transferred in with a 3.0 GPA, but come winter I doubt it will stay that way with all the skiing there is to do here! I would just like to say hello to Jennifer Keim. I haven't heard from you in awhile, and am wondering if it is a boy or a girl?! Love and miss everyone, Anastasia. New Address: AC31389@APPSTATE.EDU. Love to hear from you all!

Ed, thanks again for this web site! I have been trying to reach Stacy Nunley for several months now, but I don't think she is getting my e-mails. Stacy, if you read this, please contact me, I am very interested in hosting a reunion on the east coast and would like to talk to you about it. Also, anyone out there who would like to "reunion" on the east coast let me know so I have an idea of how much interest there is. There is a cruise ship that runs down the Potomac River in Washington D.C., it goes by the U.S. Capital, the Washington Monument, the White House, and many other DC landmarks, I could find out how much it would be to charter the whole boat for the evening, I know that people have wedding receptions on the boat and I understand they do a great job with parties. Also, I could arrange a tour through the White House and other DC attractions for a large group. Or we could go to the Kennedy Center for a play. There is the Smithsonian, the Air and Space Museum, and so on and so on. Anyway, please let me know if anyone is interested!

Dear Ed, I stumbled upon the site you've created and I spent over two hours paging through and reading every word! What a blast! I don't know if you'll remember me. I'm Erin (Lynn Mosley) Stark. I would have graduated with the class of 78 but we moved the summer of 76 to Montgomery, Ala. My dad was Chaplain Mosley at Spangdahlem, I had a brother, Larry class of 74 and a sister, Amy class of 79. I was on the drill team 74/75 school year and a cheerleader 75/76 school year. Other than that, I wasn't terribly memorable. Today I live in San Antonio, TX with my husband of 3 years, Steve. We have an 18-year old cat and a 7 year old dog and no kiddos. I graduated from Auburn University and moved to San Antonio in 1984 and I've been here ever since. I'm a mortgage loan officer with a company called CTX Mortgage and work a lot. I found out about the reunion a little too late to make it this year, but I'd love to hear about future reunions so I can plan to attend those! Anyone that wants to can contact me at Erinstark9@aol.com. I'd love to hear from any of my schoolmates but especially from Kally Noblitt. Anyone that has any info on her, I'd appreciate it greatly! I look forward to hearing from y'all soon! Lynn

I was just cruising through Ed's fantastic "Who's Who and Where from Bitburg High School" Message Board, then I checked out the address book and I just have to ask "Where the hell is the Class of '80?" Look at '79's address book--tons! Then check out '80--just 14. Apparently, the 80's grads took the Metric Scare way too seriously--you know the one--"All countries will go to the Metric System by the year 1980, so you'd better learn it before you graduate!" We were obviously studying kilometers and liters much too hard, and we forgot to learn about the new wave--COMPUTERS! Too scarey! And, look, IT DIDN'T MATTER! I still count in miles and cups!!! Ed, what a great job you're doing. Keep it up. I doubt that there is a more comprehensive message system among the BRATS of the world with a fabulous 3 year track record such as your Baron site! (But then again, I don't check out the Frankfurt or K-town sites--why would I?) Cheers to all the Baron Brats--keep on communicating--it's fun to read. And thanks to Ed--a Webmaster extraordinaire! And for all you headed to San Diego next month--Have Fun!! jacque williams, '80--(Tumey in a former life.)

Hello everyone, first of all I want to thank Ed, for keeping this thing we call a web page up and functioning so well. If it were not for him I would not be leaving this message on what has been going on in my life in the past week. I finally finished nursing school on Tuesday and what a relief it is to be done, but that is not the reason I am leaving the message. I was fortunate enough to have friends from Bitburg attend my graduation. These are people who up until last year I had not heard from in almost 7 years. Anastasia Chive and Chad Carter traveled up the coast to Virginia to help me celebrate my graduation. We talked one night till 2 am about all the good times that we had and what is going on with people we have been in contact with. I want to thank them again for coming and now that I am done with school I might have a chance to get down to the Carolinas to visit them some time. As for me, yes Ana, it has finally hit me. I was accepted in a Critical Care Internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center, where I start June22, hopefully soon after that I will be working in their trauma center as a Registered Nurse. Well, that was about all and Again I want to thank Ed, without him I would have not had a chance to celebrate with some of my oldest friend. Shawn Floyd

Hello Bitburg! This is Rick(Ricky) Ybarra and I was a part of the Class of 91' and a proud Bitburger for a total of 11 years of my life(77-80, 84-91)It is amazing how fast the years go by once you are out of high school. I told myself that I would go back to Bitburg as soon as I could but I guess this website will do for now! It is great! I just wanted to say HI! to everyone I've lost touch with and met during my stay at the old Bitburg Elementary School, Bitburg Middle School and Bitburg High School. I've been fortunate to be able to get together with a lot of friends from Bitburg since moving to the states and would love to be able to hear from or get together with other friends I met there! As for my brief past after high school and present situation, I graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture. All the traveling I did throughout Europe was a great influence on me wanting to become an architect. While at school, I continued my love for sports by playing 4 years of Collegiate Baseball and Soccer(all that running and running and running and running that Coach Lemmon and Coach Carr made us do to Dusseldorf sure paid off! :)) and had a blast traveling throughout the states, but I am not so sure anything could beat those 9 hour bus rides and overnight trips to Nurnburg! :) After all, It was during one of those trips that I met Jen and we are still high school sweethearts! :) Currently, I am working with RTKL Associates, Inc.(an Architecture and Engineering Firm) in Baltimore, Maryland and living on the harbor. I am finishing up my pre-registration requirements so that I will be eligible to start taking the Architectural Registration Exam in 1999. Well, I better close for now but I wanted to write a quick note. I am very excited about this upcoming Las Vegas Reunion in 2000 and am looking forward to seeing those that can make it. It will be nice to say b-H-S one more time! Take care! Rick.

From: Laura (McAbee) Torzewski (RONMC@frugal.com) Thank you so much for your hard work and for providing us the opportunity to find each other. Had I stayed in Germany I would have graduated with the class of '88. Like so many of us, we moved back to the states between my Jr and Sr year. I have kept in touch with a few people from Bitburg, but would love to hear from Carla Gillingham. Where are you? And do you still ballet dance? Isaac Singleton, are you a millionair now? Michael Ewing, thank you for the catch-up. Robin, you were right about computers. How's Herr Vogt doing? Is Freitag still a free day in German class? Mark Lajoie, did I spell your name correctly? I have some old yearbook pictures you might like. They are of you on track. Amber Hale, are you still sewing? Mike Reimer, I have several pictures of you and Lang on your bikes. And DANIEL INGRAM, I am sorry I didn't write back more. This has been so much fun. Thank you, thank you.

This is Michelle Heimerl, class of '93, reporting in before I head home to Alaska for the summer. I just visited Jon Womack (also class of '93) in Boise a few weekends ago and it reminded me that I should post something to encourage our old friends to mail us. I'll be disappearing into the Chugach National Forest this summer, but I'll be checking in with my parents occasionally. Their address is: 16630 Davis Street Eagle River, AK 99577 I'll check e-mail there, too. SO if anyone is heading to alaska this summer, drop a line and I'll tell you all the places to go, or if any old friends want to say hi to either Jon or myself, contact me. We are both looking for one LOUIS C, class of 1992. I'm sure everyone remembers him- we would like to know what became of him, where he is, etc. thanks! michelle

Howdy fellow class of 79ers....Tony McEuen here....much appreciation to Ed Fuller for the work on this great site!!!!!! Its been great catching up with long lost classmates and hearing what everyones been up to. I'll try to match the rest of ya. Went to college at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Tx and entered the AF. Am currently a Major stationed at Misawa Japan (for 7 more weeks). Been stationed at Homestead AFB, Fl (85-89); Wright-Patterson AFB (89-90), OH; Langley AFB, VA (90-93); Mt Home AFB, ID (93-96) and Misawa (Sept 96-June 98). After Misawa, Im headed to Maxwell AFB, AL for 10 months (which will be great considering we got 145" of snow here this winter!!--luckily I like to ski---and the skiing is great here) and who knows where after that. Got married to a Texas babe I met in school and we have three kids: Ryan, 8 (whose bigger than I was in the 8th grade); Holly, 6 (the typical daddys girl stereotype); and Troy, 4 (who is the real bundle of energy and I feel will be the most "challenging"). I'm planning on taking about 40 days of leave between the time I leave Misawa and make it to Alabama---will be spending a week in Hawaii (starting 22 June), then on to Fairfield, CA for a week to visit my folks; moving on to 2 days in Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde Nat'l Park in Cortez, CO; White Sands and Carlsbad Caverns; Canyon, Tx; a week at my grandparents in Bonham, Tx (1 hr NE of Dallas), then a week at my in-laws in San Antonio before heading east on I-10 to Montgomery----so, if I'll be nearby someone let me know and maybe we can have a Bitburger or two!!! Good on all planning to attend the San Diego reunion---sounds like a blast---I hope to be able to make the next one!!! I've already emailed some of the ole "BBB" and plan on emailing some other of my classmates (at least the ones I liked!!!!). Anyways, hope everyone is doing well and lets try and round up the rest of our class (next years our 20th--anyone know of any plans?). This is my wifes email address and we'll be hooked up for another 6 weeks---I'll send an update to Ed when I get settled in Alabama....be great to hear from anyone! Take care and best wishes to all.

From: Robin (ROBINPIX@aol.com)

Did you graduate in 1990 and are interested in attending the summer reunion in the year 2000? If so, than email Robin Weiner (Class of 1990), RobinPIX@aol.com, with your current mailing address, home phone, business phone, email address and permanent address (parent's) to be included in future notices. I realize this is two years down the road but it may take that much time to track everyone down. So, if you know of other classmate's addressess, etc. please send them to me as well. How much fun would it be to see old faces and catch up on what's been going on over the past 10 years? I'm excited about it! This reunion is not exclusive to the 1990 class because many friendships expanded to the classes prior and after 1990. If you feel the desire to attend but were in a different graduating class don't feel left out. Please send your information as well. Thank you! Robin

I have definitely lost touch with those friends and acquaintances from Bitburg and would love to hear from anyone from the class of '82 or other gals I played softball with over there. I left Bitburg in 1979 and attended BHS for one year as a freshman. I attended 6th through 8th grade at the Bitburg Middle School. My brothers are Tony and Scott McEuen and I'd be happy to give you their addresses if you'd like to get in touch with them. A quick bio on me for those interested.... I currently live in Kingwood, Texas, which is just north of Houston. I am a Speech Pathologist with my own small private practice. I have been married 6 years to Dan Reid. We met in San Diego, he was a pilot in the Navy. Dan got out of the Navy after a 2 year stay on Guam and we relocated to Texas. We do not have any children, except for our wonderful two black labs - one 7 and one 3 months. I loved to hear from anyone who remembers me.

Hey Fellow Barons!!! Mona Hook, here- you may remember me as Mona Gardner, C/O 79 After spending way too much time reading the message board for the past few months and being shamed and cajoled into posting a message, I hereby submit the following: I'm alive and well and living in The Woodlands, Tx (a little burg about 45 miles north of Houston) with my husband and two daughters, who are 42, 15 and 13 respectively. Nevermind how old I am. We're settled here after 17 years of marriage and 10 moves. But don't panic- I won't bore you with the details of my life since I left Bitburg... altho I have enjoyed reading up on some of the posted BHS biographies. My family and I plan to attend the reunion in San Diego; we just happened to be planning a trip to LA the week of June 21- so this reunion will work out in the plan. I talked to GREG BOYLES and we discussed the possibility of a side trip to the zoo or Sea World on the free day for anyone who is interested. Let me know... if we have a large enough group, we can probably get group rates on admission tickets. I hope to see lots of '79ers at the reunion so we can GET TOGETHER AND PLAN OUR 20th REUNION!! Greetings: Alright. After reading this message I know most of you will be thinking that I am blowing smoke, as Mike Owens and I have been hinting for the last two years that we want to put together some sort of ten year reunion for the class of 1990 for the summer of 200. Well, I am inspired. Perhaps it is the guilt I feel for never responding to my emails (those of you out there know who you are), or perhaps I miss everyone so much. Regardless, Mike and I are very serious about having a reunion in Las Vegas during the summer of 200, probably for our class (1990) and the classes that surrounded us (89-93). We believe it would be fun to get everyone together, as all of the people in these classes influenced our high school careers. I have been told that Tracey Chavez is interested in helping as well, so perhaps we could put our heads together and come up with something cool. Let me know if you are interested in helping out or if you have any ideas. Also, Dan Klanderman and I have been trying to put together a homepage for the class of 1990. We are working oon getting some webspace and some ideas. As I know nothing about HTML it could be a laborious process. Patience, though, my friends, as we have grand ambitions. Until next time . . . Dave

Hi fellow Bitburgers! Happy Easter from West Texas! This is Joanne Rose (Class of '75). I finally located us thanks to Tom Raup getting in touch with my older brother, Jim and my Mom. Tom, it was great to hear from you, and I'm sending you my address and phone...You too Frank. I have just moved and am finally getting settled in my career and life in general. (As, much as I can settle down..ha) I'm in El Paso, Texas right now spending Easter with my Mom. My Dad passed awat last year and we all miss him more than we can say. I'll be heading home to Alpine, Texas (Home of the "famous" Sul Ross State University) later today. Alpine is a great small town, centered around this wierd mixture of artists, authors, actor wanna-be's,aging hippys, and cowboys. I love it! I teach English and Reading to 7th and 8th graders. No, I'm not crazy....yet. My wonderful (if a bit "hormonally challenged") students seem to remind me an awful lot of us. Of course, any of us that graduated from '74 - '76 were almost perfect kids! Right! ha. Things are going well, I've had an interesting 20+ years. Maybe I'll write a book when I win the lottery. *I have 3 beautiful children: Lisa Yvonne- 19; Michael Troy-17; and Linda Diane-15. All three of them have an awful lot of me in them, which scares me to death sometimes! Tom, wish I could meet you in San Diego this June, sounds like a great time. But Linda's going to be in Drivers Ed. Take pictures, ok? Your idea for the 2001 reunion for '76 sounds good. I personally was thinking of a 2000 reunion in San Antonio...watching IMAX films, wandering around the Alamo, and Drinking margaritas by the River Walk. (I hate to tell you this Frank, but, everybody knows Texas is the real center of the universe! ha) Maybe we can put our heads together and come up with something. I can't believe you two (Tom and Frank) live so close to each other. Drink a beer for me. I would love to hear from everyone. I'm getting e-mail messages via my Mom until I get connected. Mark Kennedy, I LOVE the web site! And also, Hi to James McDorman. Yes, I remember the baseball days..you guys were something else. and Deep Purple in Frankfurt. Remember, my Dad was a chaperone? That was too much fun. Take care everyone..I'll be back in two weeks to answer messages. Lots of Love (and memories) Joanne

There's so much to do and that time of the year the weather should be nice - although cloudy mornings are a trademark - don't get disappointed by that. The beach awaits you!!! And we all know, when Bitburgers get together - nothing else matters. P.S. Class of 85 - let's rock the joint! Had a short trip up to Las Vega$ last weekend and caught up with Mike Bernhardt, William Campbell and Denise Umland who are all doing great! Wish I could have stayed longer.... Rick Howell (CO 83) checking in. The improvements to the web page look great Ed. I have written one other message for posting and heard from a couple of my fellow 83 graduates. I was only at Bitburg for my senior year but would love to hear from any of you 83 grads. I won't be able to attend the reunion in San Diego. We will be visiting my younger brother, David, at Keesler before he leaves for a remote to Greece. Allyson won't fly so the 9 hour drive will be "fun" with our 2 1/2 year old. In early December the Howell family will be increased by one. Allyson cried the first time we found out she was pregnant and I cried the second time. We just got one out of diapers and here we go again. Kids are great though. I can't imagine (or is it remember) life without them. We are still living in small town America (Boiling Springs, NC) and enjoying every minute of it. I'm still working full time as the city manager and part time teaching in the MBA program at the local university. I enjoy both jobs very much. Allyson and I try and keep in touch with the world traveling to Atlanta, Charlotte and Charleston as often as we can. I was looking at the Baron Shield 83 the other day and realized it has been nearly 15 years since graduation. I look and see familiar faces and recall fond memories of the good times. I remember nearly failing pottery class because of that darn rock pot and other projects. That exquisite piece of work sits on my desk now. I have alot of people ask me what it is supposed to be. I usually just smile and say " that is a rock pot I made in pottery class at Bitburg American High School in 1983 let me tell you about it...." One final memory then I will sign off. Upon arriving at Bitburg in June 1982 our sponsor was driving us to the TLQ. I saw an ugly gray building that looked like a prison or power plant and asked him about it. He looked at me, grinned, and said " Oh, that's the high school you'll be attending." I've never looked back and regretted the year I spent there. Keep those messages coming fellow Bitburgers. Have a great reunion. I'll try and make it next time. Adios. (I took 3 years of spanish before I arrived at Bitburg and never did learn much german.)

I'd like to know where the river boat sails tonight. To San Diego, well that's just fine all right. Snork McDorman here, CLASS OF 1976, a.k.a. Jaime in Mr. Romeu's Spanish class. I had Mrs. Romeu for Freshman English. Did anyone out there go to the 1973 Deep Purple concert in Frankfurt? What about the 1974 Uriah Heep concert in Saarbrucken? Exceptional memories from both. I especially recall playing baseball and football at Bitburg (the trip to Swizterland was memorable also). I think the best however were the friendships which were developed with Frank Tomko, Kevin Hortel, Ken Hoban, Lee Roberts, Daryl Bagwell and Joey Jackson. I departed BHS February 1975 and graduated high school in Austin, TX. Enlisted in the US Navy subsequently, and served much time (6 years) in the North Sea, Baltic Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, not to mention the North Atlantic. Upon discharge from USN, graduated from University of South Carolina (B.S.-Earth Science). Personally, I've been married now for almost 16 years and have an exceptional wife (Teresa) two wonderful daughters (Kristin and Britainy). Should any of you Barons have the availability for a cold Pilsner and some conversation, don't hesitate to contact me, its always good to talk with some who has Biburg experience. I don't have great memories of High School; I had a really unpopular time from 78-79. I guess it's really hard to forget even after all this time. **********JULIO's BACK!!!!!!!!!!!*************** Liebe GruBe an alle Studenten bei B.H.S! This is Luis Espinoza (c/o 94) here. I just recently found out about our cool website so I had to drop a line. Many of you knew me as dj Julio, founder of Urban Underground - a team of underground dance music enthusiasts and disc jockeys. Lately, I have put my musical ambitions aside and have got some other things rolling in my life. Firstly, I am happily married. I got married last September to my old pen- pal's best friend. I have Herr Vogt to thank in -part for our amazing uniting. My wife was actually my best friend's (Brett = but the bastard doesn't keep in touch with anyone anymore!!!) pen-pal in German class. We just had our first baby boy as well. His name is Evan. He is sooooo cute. I am also in the Air Force now. I really enjoy coming back to this page. There is nothing like reliving the "glory days". I heard the school is down to 300 students. Since I discovered this page I've been able to get in contact with a group of people I had not heard from in 10 years. I don't know what it is about the over-seas experience that makes people close but it is true. Hey mid 80's guys> How many are coming to SanDiego. This is OUR decade. Need proof? >The Wedding Singer > Grosse Pointe Blanke > Romy and michelle's High School Reunion. 'nuff said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOLVERINES SUCK! SPARTANS RULE!!!! GOOD NITE NOW!

Hi all. It has been over a year since I have written a message. I am still working for a police department in the greater Wichita area. I was promoted to Sergeant, Supervisor of Patrol, in February. Not bad for only 3 1/2 years. My wife and I are planning on breaking ground for our house within the next six months. We invested in a restuarant this winter and it should be opening in May. We have still not reproduced, nor are there any plans to do so in the near future. Good news, though, and CONGRADULATIONS to Darla (Goertz) c/o 90 who is expecting. My prayers are with you. Mike Owens, just a note to say "Thanks" for not leaving me out in your last message. I truly felt special when I read my name. HAHA. Also, you should start considering having the 2000 Reunion somewhere in the Mid-West. Kansas, perhaps. If you decide to have it around here, I would be more than willing to do a lot of the footwork and planning for you. But regardless of where you have it, I would love to help you guys out. If for nothing else, to light a fire under you guys to get the ball rolling. To all others, continue to aspire and overcome. Remember...Life is yours, and its your life. Mike Squared (Prue)
